Skeeter Festival Update - Day one

Headquarters one is up and cooling. The head web dude has a couple of new gadgets that enhance the trailer. He was however griping about somebody potlicking his shade. I'll plead the 5th on that one. I was headed out the gate with TripleF to get another arm band and overheard him.
Big Yella is fired up and at operating temperature. I think the fajitas have to be turned in for judging at 7pm. When I left BH, Rosie and Brewgod were checking into the hotel and then on the way back to cook the fajitas. Good luck with that portion of the competition guys and gal. There is a lot of brisket, chicken, ribs and sausage that will be cooked in the next 24 hours. Hope to see ya'll out there tomorrow. I've got to go to work tonight but will be there early tomorrow.
Brewgod arrived and the kegs were setup in short order. The pit workers Neverenough and Pelican were hard at work prepping everything. Josh is still banned. At least until Monday. The beer is cold. The food will be hot and delicious. Come on out and enjoy the day. The park isn't in too bad of shape. There are a couple of mudholes but they can be easily navigated around. The skeeters suprisingly weren't bad. Didn't notice one all afternoon. They did however setup up a skeeter magnet, read light plant, near the pit so tonight and tomorrow night they may be bad. Come prepared. The stage where the bands will be performing is in eyesight of the pit so thats cool. See ya tomorrow.
