My membership to SCA expires here in June. I hope someone sends me a renewal form. I do have contact with the small community of shrimpers in my area. I have been getting wind that there is a lisence and a boat/w net that is for sale for $8000.00. This is grapevine material but my references are good and reliable. If $ 8000.00 isn't too high a starting price we may want to work on it. I appologize for knot knowing how much we have been giving for these two items but I am a member and donate that way. I am shy and have knot appeard at a meeting. LOL Plus I might get lynched. LOL If the price is close and anyone would like to get closer to taking over this lisence pm me and I'll go a little farther by actually speaking with the owner. It sounds steep to me but money talks down here. It would also take a lisence off the water along with a boat.

That's more than our current benchmark price, by quite a bit. However, we do have a list of available licenses, and if the person that owns it is interested in getting on the list, have them call SCA toll free at 1-866-237-9660 and leave a message. We are currently in a holding pattern on purchases, but will resume them in October.

If you want to renew your membership, send it to PO Box 1844, League City, Tx 77574-1844 or on line at http://scatexas.com There is a current round of renewal reminders going out the 2nd week of June, but yours may or may not be in it. Another round will go out, in Sept. To keep mail costs down, we do renewal reminders in batches of 250 to get bulk mail rates. I lost a week of my life over this hacker incident, or the renewals would have already been mailed.
