DPop and I had a short window of opportunity to make a wade yesterday afternoon, so we headed to a spot that is not consistent but when it's right it produces some giants. Hopped in the water about 1:30, didn't see a single mullet move, water was extremely cold, 47-49 I would guess. Visibilty was marginal, maybe 1.5 feet and silted, slight outgoing tide still moving. We ended up catching 5 trout, missed a few other good bites and one rat red. Two trout were in the 16-17 inch range, the 3rd was 21.5 inches and weighed 4.5 on the Boga. Number 4 was slightly longer, 23 ish, but we didn't weigh her. The best one of the day was in the 28 range, no accurate ruler so, might be plus or minus, but we weighed her clearlyon the Boga at almost 9.25. Really didn't take the sun getting too low before we decided to head home. Was an outstanding afternoon, fish were still biting but we left anyway. We were out of the water by about 5pm. Going to be doing a seminar next Saturday at the Houston Boat Show about how to catch these fish consistently.

Tight lines to all!
