The "Ferrari" of Bay Boats is definetley not a Shearwater...catch 5 said:I have looked at the Majek extreme. To be honest with you, I had my mind made up on that boat until I went and looked at it. I do like the Extreme, however, I dont think it is a 40k boat. It is priced fairly close to the Triton, Pathfinder, Shearwater, but the boat is not in the same class. The fit and finish in not even close to these other boats. Granted the Shearwater is a little more, but you get a lot more. The Majek is nice, but I think they could have done a little more to finish it out a little better. Bottom line, if I am going to spend that kind of money on a boat, I am not going to let 5k sway me one way or the other. If I can spend 5k more and get the Ferrari of bay boats (shearwater), then that is what I would do. I am just concerned about the wet ride, so I guess I will just go test drive one and find out for myself.
Take a look at a FAST CAT if you are sold on a boat manufactured in Florida...
Makes a Shearwater look like a canoe.
