I have looked at the Majek extreme. To be honest with you, I had my mind made up on that boat until I went and looked at it. I do like the Extreme, however, I dont think it is a 40k boat. It is priced fairly close to the Triton, Pathfinder, Shearwater, but the boat is not in the same class. The fit and finish in not even close to these other boats. Granted the Shearwater is a little more, but you get a lot more. The Majek is nice, but I think they could have done a little more to finish it out a little better. Bottom line, if I am going to spend that kind of money on a boat, I am not going to let 5k sway me one way or the other. If I can spend 5k more and get the Ferrari of bay boats (shearwater), then that is what I would do. I am just concerned about the wet ride, so I guess I will just go test drive one and find out for myself.
The "Ferrari" of Bay Boats is definetley not a Shearwater...

Take a look at a FAST CAT if you are sold on a boat manufactured in Florida...

Makes a Shearwater look like a canoe.

Nothing to add on the Shearwater, but Mosca has caught my eye recently. Talked to a guy that had a 22' Mosca a few weeks ago and he was very pleased with it.

Said he has had it for a little over a year. It sounded like a great all-around bay boat.
Now your talkin.....

Mosca is as fine of a boat as they get..

And the Customer Service is unmatched....

Oooh, and getting smarter!

lmao.
Oh.. so you are smarter because you paid too much for a Bay Boat?.....OK..Bud...

You may need to go get your Hummer detailed instead of getting in a ******* match with me....

And don't forget to go to the Dry Cleaners to pick up all of your Monogrammed shirts....

Do you need some stickers for your boat too?...you most likely have a Wrap on it with the likeness of Roland Martin or Mark Sosin...

A Shearwater is nothing but a knock off of a Maverick Master Angler...nothing Original...nothing Cutting Edge.....

And resale value is nothing compared to a Majek,Mosca,Transport,Southshore,Explorer etc...

People line up to buy used boats made in Texas...

So, get off your High Horse......

You don't know how much I paid for my boat, jacka*s, and you don't know anything about me. So far, I am smarter than you because I don't flap my a*s cheeks about boats I know nothing about. Judging by your grammar, that's just for starters. So do us all a favor, bud, and stick your typing finger back in your nose where it will be doing someone some good.

Thanks.
I don't want to know anything about you....You have already made the impression of being a typical *******.Your Aligator mouth has already overloaded your Tadploe ***.

You seem like you are a little uptight....Best go crawl back into your hole.

I guess since you are the judge of who is smarter...you win everytime.

Hope to see you on the water someday...

I really need to go....my nose is calling my finger....

jabx1962, make sure you wash that finger first you never know what could be on your keyboard
Pinstripe...I am too stupid to type according our resident MENSA Representative.

I have to use one of those headsets that converts brainwaves into text like Dr. Stephen Hawkings uses...

Sometime's text and punctuation gets dropped in the Translation...

If I wouldn't have had to buy this very expensive software in order to communicate.

I too could afford a Shearwater.....

Hey man, I'm cool. I came in here to answer a guy's question about the comparative dryness of a Shearwater, which is something I know a little about and I pick up JABX, the fishing forum chihuahua, who seems hell bent to hump my leg in broken English about how much of a POS a Shearwater is. I guess that isn't that big of a deal, to each his own, right? And I guess that it really isn't so bad, either, that he hasn't said one word that is anywhere near the topic presented by the poster, who, btw, appreciates the feedback I gave him about the boats. What is bad, I think, is that the 2COOL SUPER CHIHUAHUA is speaking from on high about how terrible and unoriginal Shearwaters are from the casting deck of an Explorer.

That's like, comedy gold.

So I am good. I am thoroughly enjoying this guy and this discussion.

Add too stupid to use the internet to the list.
First..I will have to get a CHIHUHAHA..See if my Stephen Hawkings software recognizes CHIHUHAHA brainwaves...then get back to you...

BTW...MIT is looking for highly intelligent spell checker as yourself. And also Shearwater may be looking for a Naval Architect ...you seem qualified by your own admission.

I look forward to seeing you out on the water.....we can further this dicussion out there...

I will send you my GPS coordinates when I go fishing this weekend..I will be going out after my tutoring session from Sylvan Learning center on grammer, and punctuation...

I would like to publicly apologize the JABX for referring to him as a jacka*s and a chihuahua. He resembles neither one of those animals, it was uncalled for, and I apologize. It may be hard to see, but he actually meant well here. Foreelyo, love and kisses to everyone involved.
jtizzle...it was very nice speaking to you on the phone this morning.

You now are the aware of the reason for the banter....Hopefully things will all be remedied...

Talk with you soon...
