I was just curious if any 2cool fishers have ever encountered any sharks while wading/fishing the POC area (north San Antonio Bay to west Matagorda)? I have fished there my whole life and only come in contact with small black tips while wading the surf early morning or late evening. One time at Coast Guard Flats I caught about a 4 foot hammerhead, and that was about 5 years ago. With it being Shark Week last week it just got me wonderin'! Let me know any stories...appreciate it.
