Academy,I asked this question last year and someone repiled back Academy has reel cleaning service, so I went over there, and sure enough they do.Drop your reel off, it takes a week to it back.

Hope the one in League City is better than the one here in Laredo. I'm not sure I'd trust these guys to service anything.

Whoever does the service from Academy LC does a real good job. I've used them on several occasions on several different types of reels, no issues.

The maintenance is performed by Academy Rod & Reel Repair located in Humble and operated by Ben Reina who has worked on my stuff for at least 10 years.
