A friend in Georgetown wants to build a pool. Her house is about 2 years old and has a septic system. Problem is, it is right in the middle of her backyard.

Anyone have any ideas/thoughts on moving the septic tank and drainfield? A contrator in the Austin/Georgetown area you can recommend?

Ditto what badhabit said. Being 2 years old it may be the aerobic type. If not, you probably cant just put the old system back in and will have to go with a new aerobic one. Local regulations will tell you what they require.

In a nutshell, have a truck empty the tank and lines, dig eveything up, retrench and route all the plumbing and field lines. Sounds like a big messy job to me.
