I'm not there yet but happened to see where you got to be 79 years old before the man shakes you loose on paying to fish. Didn't it use to be 65 when you paid your dues and didn't need a license? I know a few people that can fish at 79 but most are focused on their next breath, come on. I felt embarassed reading that, they need to say that after 17 you always need one till you die. I'm hoping there's something I didn't understand or didn't read.

Right, in the mid 60's the license cost $2.15 and seniors were free. Nothing required to be carried unless you needed a free deer tag. I come back to Texas at age 65 and the hunt and fish license is $32.00 dollars.
Here I was growing old gracefully and TP&W is laying in the gap to ambush me and my wallet. See below.

Items like this need to fall back instead of charge ahead. After 65 yrs free for life. Stamps included. Some states have a no license for saltwater.
