My buddy Cookie and I decided to leave the boat at home a fish SeaWolf Park, arrived at 6:00am fished untill 9:30am. nothing, couldn't even lose a shrimp to a hardhead. Packed up and walked over to see the Sub and DE, haven't been on the Caravlla in years, We forgot how cramped it was in those subs.

Water was in excellent shape, incoming tide, wind S 15, rained pretty hard for 5-10 min,several rain showers all around, fished corks, bottom, tried to freeline but nothing.

Danny, were you fishing on the wall facing the channel? I am taking my son, 5 year old, fishing Saturday and haven't really decided if i want to hit Seawolf or go try the north jetty.

WilliamH, yes we were. We fished the corner of the wall right past the submarine. Water swirels around the wall right there and we have picked up some nice trout in that spot, but not today. You can park you equipment around the corner next to the fence and it acts like a wind break. Take a lawn chair with you!!!

the trout at seawolf are usually near the pier. sounds like you were at a flounder spot.

Are there lights on that pier out there. I've only fished pelican during the flounder runs with the rest of Houston
