I'm probably going down there this saturday. I've been checking out the arti's and have an assortment that I want to give a shot on catching some flounder.

I'm trying to figure out these tide charts, it says High tide at 1:34am with a 1.4ft movement. But then the low tide says .2 foot. I dont get it. I thought if the high tide was 1.4ft, the low tide would reflect that?

Here is the chart I'm looking at.

Day High Tide Height Sunrise Moon Time % Moon
/Low Time Feet Sunset Visible

F 13 High 1:34 AM 1.4 6:42 AM Rise 3:34 AM 16
13 Low 7:47 AM 0.2 5:25 PM Set 3:11 PM
13 High 3:48 PM 1.6
13 Low 8:43 PM 0.8

Sa 14 High 1:47 AM 1.4 6:43 AM Rise 4:35 AM 9
14 Low 8:21 AM 0.1 5:25 PM Set 3:47 PM
14 High 4:53 PM 1.7
14 Low 9:48 PM 0.8

Am I reading this wrong?

On saturday: High 1:47 am 1.4.... Low 8:21 am 0.1. This means that the water level will fall 1.3 feet between 1:47 am and 8:21 am (outgoing tide)
Incoming would be between the low at 8:21 and the high at 4:53 pm (1.6 feet of change).
