Over the past week the coastline has been pounded by heavy localized rain but the water conditions have been great and so has the fishing. I wanted to let everyone know that all the rain has not hurt the waters of seadrift to port o connor. All boats at the lodge have been producing solid boxes of trout. The fishing was a little slower today than yesterday "could have been due to the cannon balls and swan dives off of the boat", but we still managed a nice box of trout with the largest being 25.5 inches. Pretty good for a bachelor party gone wild. Well got to go respool some nice backlashes.
