Went down to the flats today. Got on the water by 6:45. nothing was biting so i put a shrimp under a poping cork and just left it there. few minutes later BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!! My buddy was like what the F&^$#@. After about 10 minutes got it up to the boat...3 foot black tip... while i was trying to get it in me and my buddy were both leaning over the side of my 14 foot aluminum boat when bam i feel in right next to the black tip. It slapped me a couple times hard before i could get out. Then it broke my line and got away.

i caught another one about 2 1/2 ' after that and i landed that one in the boat.... Just another report. i went to that bait shop in baycliff and they had no croaker and he said that no one had any right now. Why is this

I actually heard that it has been going around on the early morning fishing radio show last week...I want to say they said it was because of Gustav but I'm probably wrong....
