Does anyone own one of those $99 Savage bolt action 22 rifles that Walmart carries? I really like the way it fits my shoulder and cheek but I was already planning on buying a Marlin 925 bolt action.

What's that Savage's accuracy and reliability like compared to the Marlin?

I had a Savage bolt action in .22 WMR, their heavy barreled stainless model. Shot great. One of the most accurate .22 WMRs I ever shot. I loved it. If it feels good to you I don't think you will go wrong with it. I never had the first problem with reliability or functioning.

Savage makes a decent 22 bolt gun. It's comparable to the Marlin in quality.
