Hit the water Saturday and the bite was a little slow for the Outta Pocket. We managed three keeper Flounder and a few trout. Ran out to the Jetties to find some Bull Reds but they where being stubborn also. It's still a little on the warm side for the Flatties it seems so maybe next weekend.

While fishing on the jetties we looked over towards the rocks and a family had apparently loss power or came un anchored. With the wind and the current the brand new looking Kenner was banging against the rocks. I hailed the Coast Gaurd on the VHF and kept in contact with them while the situation turned for the worse. Luckily everybody seemed to make it through the ordeal un-harmed. Not before all three had to be rescued from the water and we scambled to pick up what gear was floating. They left in another persons boat that had plenty of room before the CC got there so I don't know the final out come. They all looked shook up to say the least and I hope they made it through OK.
