Does anyone know if it is possible and if so how, to get your local Houston Channels down at the deer lease in the Hill Country. Have direct TV service now but can't get local channels. How do all you RV people do it.

I am in College Station and Dish offers us the Waco Temple local package and it goes whereever I go either at the deer lease in F'burg or with us in the RV. I just point the dish in the correct zone and it pulls it up. I think Direct you have a separate dish for locals don't you?

I have messed with this for some time but have found the solution. I have dish in Freer and get local houston. If you live in houston it should work. Cancel your existing if they know your located in the Hill country by address. Then, open another account from a houston address and local phone. They have no idea where you are physically located. Worked for me.

bandada1 is correct. I subscribe to the Austin package and watch that at Rockport. I tried to add in the Corpus package but they wouldn't let me do that. It's one or the other.

JUST TAKE YOUR RECEIVER FROM HOME WITH YOU..WORKS GREAT..WE TAKE OUR RECEIVER WITH US EVERYWHERE.. SURE IS HANDY AND GET YOUR LOCAL NEWS ..
