]Dad and I went out with our friend Carey Thorn (tarponfly) this morning. Sandies are in 4 feet of water in all the major North TX creeks. Males only right now. But we caught a mess of em.

First time fishing for sandies with a flyrod- had a good teacher and ended catching 15 or so on the 4 weight:

That looked like a blast with the fly rod! We checked out Denton Creek yesterday- a few crappie and one little male white bass. Water was really muddy and still pretty cold. I'm around Sunday.

Can't go Sunday, we are going to Church and my yard is in need of some major attention. What about Tuesday morning. Texas country artist Nate Kipp is gonna tag along. Might be a story there.

Very nice ya'll... every tune in to South West Outdoor Report? Barry Stokes fishes all Ok. Ark Tex.areas. I used to fish Lake Fork Creek, before it became a lake!
