Check the "Bacliff" thread...I posted what I heard about it
Total Loss
I spoke with my neighbor today who made it back to San Leon & he said our place on 25th& Ave A is probably a total loss. Only a few houses left standing, many are gone. All are empty on the 1st floor as the waves washed everything away. All the bricks are gone from my home. He said the water was at least 5ft deep over the streets during the storm. My boat lift is in my front yard. The riprap on the bulkhead is up on the streets. The furniture & stuff from the houses on Ave A are across Bayshore drive to the south.
I plan to go down tomorrow to check out what's left.
