There is a meeting at Chesters on 410 & Naco Wednesday night at 7:00 PM. I would like to invite all of the San Antonio area anglers to join us for a burger.

The meeting is for SEA. Everyone is invited to attend. Our soeakers will be Capt. Jimmy Dooms and Capt. Jason Reiger. They will be talking fishing and hunting around the coast. We will also raffle off a cast & blast fishing and hunting combo as well as rods and tackle.

The meeting is in the back room, straight as you come in the front door.

Announcement

Our next membership meeting will be Wednesday, July 12th at 7:00 PM at Chester's Hamburgers on Loop 410. We will have a presentation from Jimmy Dooms of Dooms Outfitters and Jason Reiger of South Texas Guide Services.
Both of these guys are outstanding fishermen. But, they are going to add a wrinkle and talk about fishing and duck hunting.

We are going to raffle a Cast and Blast duck hunting/fishing combination at the meeting. Bring a friend and join us for a great hamburger and some fishing stories!

PS. I will see everyone in Matagorda this weekend at the Texas Redfish Series

Before offering an acronym of "SEA" please familiarize your target demographic with information the organization is built upon....Mind ya, I'm not butting heads here but wanting you to be a bit more precise on the cause that dedicated conservationsists and outdoorsmen may find useful to support. It's like a newbie coming of age and not knowing what PETA or CCA stands for. (colloquialism)....Well, what is it? .... (I'm blushing here, having grown up in Corpus Christi but never knowing what "PINS" meant!....I quickly learned what it was, upon initial contact with the internet fishing forums, and I was totally familiar with Padre Island National Seashore!)

SEA is the Saltwater-Fisheries Enhancement Association. Each chapter raises it's own money and funds local Texas projects that are approved by the chapters. We just installed a fish cleaning station at Conn Brown in Aransas Pass. We are working on other projects right now. More inportant it is a group of good people who like to meet once a month and talk fishing. once a year we have a casino night/banquet to raise funds and have fun.

The web site is getting a face lift right now but it is www.sea-sa.org.
