I have the 42 inch($3,000) samsung 1080i. It has an awesome picture when you use the HDMI cord. I also have the Visio 37($780) inch 1080i. It has an awesome picture as well with the HDMI cord. I watch the Visio more than the Samsung because of the picture quality. The Visio is alot cheaper also. Hope this helps.
