We caught this sail in the neighborhood of East Breaks on a split tail mullet. The bait was in the water only 20 minuets before hooking up. We caught it early and had visions of multiple billfish but it turned out to be the only one we saw all day.
​

The rodeo started when the reel crapped out after maybe three turns of the handle. The fish burned up a lot of line before we managed to cut the line and splice it on to another rig. When that reel filled up we had to hand line it the last 50 yards.
​

We did catch a few small black fins on ballyhoo. Weather was perfect it was a great day to be out on the deep blue.

How many gallons did you burn with the hondas?We took 240 with us last trip and ended up burning 169.

i usually burn about 180 gallons but we ran to a few other spots that were way off course on the way in trying for some more color for the box. we burned 230 gallons and put about 300 miles on the trip....rick
