Just wondering if anyone has any reports how Sabine Pass faired during Ike? My parents tried to get down there but were turned away.

My Son lived there. There is nothing much left as far as houses go. If your house was not on 20' Piers, chances are its gone, or just a shell.

My son was advised that if he rebuilt again, Insurance would be impossible to obtain.
