700am pics of high water.

We should see about 2 more feet high at the most. If Ike goes further east up the coast.

Lookig out over Estes you can make out the a lot of fish slicks. Also I see the squirls have decided to lay low up in the trees.

I know yesterday morining the beach at Port A was was underwater to the dunes. I bet this morning there was water coming down the road.

OH Geez! Hey THANK GOD we did go get our RV! We had ours parked there at Palm Harbor 1st row over looking Estes. We decided to leave our boat there in storage just behind the RV park. Please keep us posted!

Drove thru Rockport, and Looks good. Time will tell though, main/austin street is very prone to flooding.

more pics of rising water.
If you have a dock, it is under water. Some boards are floating. Had several Boat ropes break and make a loud popping sound as poeple tied their boats to tight and forgot about the rising water.

Then there is the people sight seeing, or cruising createing the wake that will pop your boards from your docks. ...But it is what it is.

More wind now, but i dont hink it will get past 40mph. I look for the tide to rise about 16 inches more.

theres still about a foot to a foot and 1/2 before it goes over the embanckment

Hogheaven: Great pix of the marina at Palm Harbor. It was just like being there. Keep up the good work and send more pix or give us an update when ever you can.

nuthin magor with the tide. Came up about 1 foot and 1/2 more. Lots of dock parts lifted or floating, but thats it.

HAd some calls in to Alvin/Angleton area. From what they told me... they made it.

I appreciate your pictures and updates. Can you give me an idea of the winds encountered? This is my 1st time to go through this with a house at stake. I've had it for 6 weeks and now this. I'm located in Holiday Beach. I boarded up all windows and doors but I am surrounded by oak and pine trees so I am concerned about the damage they can impose. Again, thanks.
