We are getting hammered pretty good and have been for several hours. I cannot believe that we still have power. My wife went to work last night at Memorial-Hermann and we may not see her for a couple days. For us it is a wind event. The rain is coming in sheets and the wind gusts are pretty scary. What has amazed me is the noise. Bangs and pops and a constant roar overhead. No way I can sleep, although the kids and dogs are crashed. The power is popping on and off. Anyway, lots of wind and periods of very heavy rain. I've been outside and do not see too much damage, just tree limbs etc. I'll take a longgggg nap tomorrow. Stay safe everyone. - Hevy

thx for the report. same thing here in Friendswood! Power keeps going off and on. Keeps interupting me watching Transformers lol.

Doug you are luckier than me, power in pearland went out at 8 nice wind howls being felt and found 1 snall roof leak at the new house. wonder what slp is gonna look like after this
