i may need to rig a removable trailer jack. there r a couple ramps I use, and have to really get the trailer wet/jack, to get the boat off. i have a float on. i can count on my jack going out very soon, now that i lubricated the gears with salt. i use the fulton heavy duty, they get expensive replacing them every other year. :texasflag

Where did you find salt, all the water around here is fresh.:biggrin:
I'm not sure about removable jacks, but I've seen them made out of stainless. If I remember right, they were $300+, but you never have to worry about it again.

off Levee Rd, about 2 or 3 miles from the gulf. :texasflag
