Go to www.cheniere.com and look at the artist's concepts of the proposed terminals. You will recognize the Quintana site as it has the "jackup rig" in it.
I suspect we will see some changes when those ships begin coming into the channel.
I don't think, from what I have heard, that Quintana will be closed to the public. A friend owns property in the area and I have seen the proposal drawings for the site, pipelines, etc., and they do not mention Quintana being closed.
After all, there are a bunch of full-time residents there, and the state just spent all that money to build the bridge. Don't suppose there was any political influence, do you?
