my dad, his buddy and i hit rockport saturday. first off the weather was absolutely wonderful. a nice light breeze out of the SW switching to SE and the temperature was in the low 90's. day before the full moon but it was still an alright day of fishing. started off on a shoreline of san jose and got into a lot of trout. a lot of the trout were right at 15" and you second guess yourself when you're measuring them against your rod. anyway we did keep two, one at 18" and one at 20" and then moved on. tried a couple of reefs with no keepers and then hit some other area shorelines and scratched out three more at 17". water everywhere seemed to be in great shape and like i said the weather was just great. lots of fish just not a lot of keepers. didn't fish this morning but will be back to fish next friday through sunday. no pics of any count so didn't post any.
