Am looking at a 2014 pathfinder with a 250SHO on it. Engine has 140 hours on it. Was told by the broker they replaced the long block on the engine due to a crack at 95 hours. Does anyone have any input on this.

I run a 2013 Pathfinder 2400 with a SHO250. I don’t have any opinion on the new power head. Machines break. 🤷 I will say that the 250 performs surprisingly well on that 24’ boat. Fuel efficient and will run 50 if you need to. Cruises comfortably at about 40. I have owned many boats of many brands. I don’t usually keep a boat more than a couple of years but I really “bonded” with the Pathfinder. Been running it 8 years and have no complaints. Good boat.

Good info. I just bought a 2016 Pathfinder 2200 TRS with the 200 SHO. It seems to be over propped. I can only run 47 @5000 RPM. Running a 4 blade Powertech OFX 19P. If you don't mind me asking what prop and pitch are you running?

Thanks

That boat motor combo likes the ofx 4 in 17 p, or get the ecu flashed by a Nizpro dealer to 250 and the 19 will be perfect.
