Need help finding the right prop. I have a 1990 20' Hydra Sport Vector (Deep V) w/ a 1998 200 hp yamaha. Looking for a good all around prop... Dont need to have a hole shot, just looking for a good efficient cruising prop... Any advise would be great!!

Thanks,

John

That advice from redfishr is as sound as it comes. A 17 pitch prop will usually get you out of the hole quick without over "reving" at WOT. Remember though....the heighth of the engine on the transom does make a difference. You want the anti cavitation plate about even with the general plane of the bottom of the boat. If you have a jack plate this is no big deal as you can move it as you drive while you look for your best result. A 20 foot boat with a 200 should fly. Be careful friend.
