Does anyone have a report on the Mansfield tournament this past weekend?

Fishing was slow

Fished PM Tourney 7/28 & 7/29. Four fishermen in artificial division. Caught limits of reds both days. 8 trout Fri, 4 trout Sat. No flounder.

All caught on topwaters (bone, blu/silver, blu/orange) & tails (red/green Norton Bull Minnow, red/white NBM's, Salty Chicken sand eels).

Water a little sweet, but not enough to impair fishing.

Had thunderstorms in the distance both days, but only got rained on once on Sat.

I had some clients out fishing with a guide on saturday and one of them picked up a 21" flounder. we werent in the tournament or anything, but those guys would have loved to have had this one. I think the best one was a 19"er if I am not mistaken. Fishing was slow. but there were a few holes that were holding fish. None real big but solid fish.

Just got back in the office from the PM Tournament (a little extended time off). Fished Offshore division and caught a few. 34 Snapper 8 to 12#+. 8 King 23 to 41#+. 1 Ling and entirely too many shark. We won the Kingfish division with the 41#1. Not a bad 2 day tournament.
