Surfmeister and myself took a little run out of port A for a great day on the pond.
Started by picking up a few keeper Red Snapper, then a few grouper. Found a weedline that was loaded with chickens and had a blast landing enough of these for a good fry.
We did get to see what was easily the largest bull dolpfhin I've seen feeding on these chickens. I tied on a bait to a rod and did have him on for a few seconds until my line parted. Leson for me is not to use a rod that has it's topshot damaged by barnacles from jigging.
There went my Contender!
We did find another small school of chickens about 17 miles out of Port A.
