Started off on Dewberry at 1:30 p.m. Saw one red. Then went deep into Big pocket at the mouth of Mule's. One pod of tailers and several singles. Caught 5 Reds all on Horbey Spoon Fly 18"-23". Ran Mule's and only saw a handful of singles. Hit Light house cove shoreline and saw a couple of singles. Hit shoreline outside of Pringle between the middle entrance and Matagorda park ferry entrance. Saw 1000's of Mangrove Snapper. Tons of HUGE trout. And a handful rat reds. We caught 20-25 mangrove snapper on small pink clousers. 4 trout on red and white deceivers. One trout pushed 27". The others were 20"-23", but we saw some monsters traveling the white sand like highways between grass beds. We also saw a 4 1/2' bull shark attack a school of Mangrove Snapper. Went up to the commotion and the shark was munching on the head of a snapper. This was all in about 18" of water.Went to the entrance of Sunday Beach from the Old Coast Guard Station. The tide was rushing in around the point. Lady fish were jumping out of the water mixed with Pompano and small trout. I don't even remember how many we caught, but we caught them all on brown/white clousers.
