Headed out before sun up and hit the east flats to be welcomed by tons of tailing reds. But just as we were enjoying taking in the sunrise, tails and explosions on top waters, the reds disappeared and the bite ended just as fast as it started. We hit the east cut and then headed North to hit the west shoreline with limited sucess. Landed several dink trout and rat reds, but only two slot reds before the storms chased us off the water. Beautiful day to be on the water before the storms blew through...
All fish taken on natural colored topwaters and dark colored plastics (red/white, roach & new penny); the gold spoon wasn't happening today.
