A very good friend of myself and my family who is a member of the Rockport Police Department recently was in a scufffle while trying to make an arrest and broke his pelvic bone, X-Rays revealed he has a type of bone cancer and is just now going thru his options of what to do. He is a single father who has one of the biggest hearts of anyone I know, and he is really just broken down right now and in the dumps, we spent the evening with him and had a few drinks and cheered him up quite a bit last night. I have seen what the power of prayer can do on this board so please pray for him.

I know it's hard to watch the people we care about go through such awful times and that you just feel helpless and unable to make the situation any better. Just remember that your friendship, support, and encouragement are vital to his attitude and recovery. This call for God's help is gonna make a big difference and although he is having a tough time now, he also has something very good going for him...and that is having the friendship of a good man like you.
