Go to the Dr if you want it cured

 

it's been a while sinceI had it, but I think a prescription is required to get rid of it.

 

there are no home remedies for pink eye. you need to call or see your pediatrician and get a prescription for some antibiotic drops.

also, pink eye (conjunctivitis) is extremely contagious. wash your hands with warm soap and water before and after treating your son.

 

i got some over the counter drops the pharmacy recomended but i think we are going to the doc after lunch.

 

I've had it numerous times as a kid and as an adult. Definately a Dr. visit thing.

 

I had it last year when I was sick. I let it go to where I had to wipe my eyes with a wet rag every 5 secs to drive to the doc. I was cool in my shades though.

 

we got lucky, the doctor just shot a prescrip to the CVS by the house so we dont have to go to his office across town.

 

it sucked at 6 am when john got out of bed, came to my room, and was crying "i cant open my eyes" all freaked out.

 

I've only had it once and it's miserable. Get the prescription, it's the ONLY way.

 

I just had it about 2 weeks ago (and I'm 36) after never having it as a kid. It's very irritating. I got antihistamine drops and they felt much better even after just the first dose!

 

And no TV or video games. The darker in the house the better.

A couple cases ofthat popped up at one of our offices this week. I stayed away from it like the plague,lol.

 

well he is actually doing very well, it looks like we caught it early so it didnt get to bad.

my wife said her cousin has seen at school a ton of cases and been reading a lot about a ton of cases in teh dallas area. looks like it is just around these days.
