Piers

Ok I don't think I can wait much longer to get some bait soaking. I don't have a boat and usually fish Galveston Fishing Pier or Seawolf Park. Since I can't get to fish these 2 spots I am willing to head south to Matagorda or Aransas. Does anyone know of any piers that are open to fish from? Looking for any piers that are in the surf from Gorda to Corpus.....Any help will be appreciated. Also looking for places to throw a cast net to catch mullet or shad in those areas.
