Here's a few more...we were lucky, it seems that Sargent came out pretty well compared to what it could have been. My heart goes out to our neighbors in the coastal community in the Galveston area.
Thanks for the pics, my house is 3 houses from Caney Creek Marina on Seagull. I went down tuesday to check out the damage. Luckly just water damage and ALOT of mud in the house but not alot of wind damage.
My propane tank ended up across Seagull so if anyone has a little tractor or backhoe that would like to make some money, it won't take 2 mintues to set it back in my yard (not hooked up) please let me know.
If you can't find anybody with a tractor contact the propane supplier that you use most of them have a trailer with a lift and cradle that you can use to pick it up and move back onto your lot.
A great big thanks River Rat for posting the pics.
Harbormaster, i just might have to try that. Thanks for the idea's! I have a bigger one that floated under my porch that is full! I will check with my neighbors first to see if it's there's and then i will post if someone has a propane tank m.i.a. down there.

I found and article on the Chronicle website that says the Ike storm Surge swept through 30 to 35 homes in Sargent meaving them severely damage. But from what I have seen posted on here that doesn't seem to be true. I would like to here from locals cause we all know how the news is.
Made a quick run down Saturday to take the boat and other stuff back and had no problems. We're on Dolphin Way and had no damage at all other than roofing blown off of the porch - Bass Buggy was still in the yard. Didn't have time to ride around (Had to get home and watch Bama whup Georgia - ROLL TIDE) but everything going in looked pretty good.
We would sure like to hear if the Krusty Pelican will be repaired and running again. That is one of our favorite stops for the Toy Run each year. If anyone finds out please let us know.
