Anyone use Penn Longbeach reels in the surf? If so, what do you think of them?

I used one for a while and decided to get rid of it. From what i was told by gundoc, compared to the jigmaster or 555, the retreve rate is really slow. I know when i had mine i hated bringing it in because you just about drag the weight the whole way.

Too low of a gear ratio which equates to sloooowwww. you wont like the retrieve.
