Different states have different helmet laws. I personally hate wearing helmets. God made our heads the perfect size to go 70+ on a bike with good wind resistance. Put a helmet on and i'd have a neckache and headache quick. But that's just me. I knew if I crashed I was pretty much dead. I do advise people to buckle up, not because it's the law but for safety, it's just reaction for me to grab my seat belt. I'll also advise wearing a helmet. But it sure didn't help my buddy when he got hit head on by a diabetic who passed out. Wiped out 2 out of 5 riders, 4 lane highway, plenty of room, Thomas was up front and never had time to react..... You can't control Accidents...
