I need some input from my fellow TTMBers.
I've got a 12 ft Jon boat on the side of the house that I need to paint. My dad bought this thing in the dark ages and has used it so much he wore the paint off the bottom. When my brother and I were teenagers we began using it and continued beating here up. After my dad died I brought her to my house and replaced the wooden transom. (I installed a new piece of cypress with lots of polyurethane. It looks beautiful and as my buddy said, I doubled the value of the boat)
The bottom of the boat is worn down to bare metal. I need to paint it but remember seeing a thread about being careful what kind of paint to use. Something about a chemical reaction with zinc or copper. Anyway, what is the best kind of paint to use? Brand? Where to get it?
