Does anyone have any up to date info about any of these areas?.....
Heard Surfside Bridge was completely under water!!!??? Just now found out homes in Oyster Creek Estates for the most part are OK. Kirby Marina took quite a hit.... A lot of damage. Some 30 ft. boats came loose and went up Oyster Creek..Hope no one was hurt or worse in the storm. Prayers and best wishes sent...

surfside bridge is not under. The rode from the levee to the bridge had a few inches over it yesterday, but is dry now. Demi-John has 4 foot of water over the road, but homes seem to be fine.
These are the reports I've gotten.

The report at the sheriff's office are coming in slow but as soon as I am updated i will pass it on. Patrolman are about to be turned loose to start running the roads to check all accessible county roads and rural subdivisions in brazoria county

Turtle cove and hideaway are in pretty good shape, they would not let us down to look at BHYC this morning

but the best i could tell in hideaway,,some homes sustained some minimal damage and one old one i hideaway is prety ruff, the boats are still floating with the exception of one that broke loose and ended up on its side in a yard.

the water did not get anywhere as high as perdicted ,, maby 4 feet under the houses

all in all Hideaway faired well considering the damage reports to the north east

I have one of the 30' boats at Kirby Marine. Does anyone know if the boat sheds stood up. They weren't in great shape. Guess I'll get my insurance papers out.

What about Bastrop Marina? Our boat is there in dry storage. We are in Spring. Lots of trees down and only one way out of our subdivision, but no major damage to any of the surrounding houses. Without power, but up and running on a generator and direct tv is up and running. Will have AC as soon as the rain stops. Hope everyone is safe.
