don't know how many of you frequent The Hull Truth, but theres a post on there of a guy that bought a 50 foot Bert in Gulf Shores. He lives up north on the east coast. The guy had no clue what diesel runs on the water before he bought it, and really has no idea how to get the boat up to his place either. The kicker is he bought the boat, I believe that it ran around $250,000, without telling his wife! Its a long read but thought you guys might enjoy it.

I would get a nice slip and girlfriend in Gulf Shores and leave it there. He already has the plane to get back and forth.

I love the part about chartering the boat out to couples that want to spend a night on the water. Figured it would be a good read since were socked in with this cold stuff.
