Tuna went crazy this weekend. i ran two trips, I had mike Ellis work for me one day and I had my deckhand take out a private boat. Total catch was 38 yellowfin to 170 pounds. i am just waiting for pics for the full report.

I happened to be with Capt.Eddie for a two day charter this past weekend and he certainly was not exaagerating. The tuna went ballistic both friday and saturday. Most of the tuna were caught on poppers along with some good size Mahi Mahi. Satur day afternoon we got to the fishing grounds about 4pm .Just before nite Capt Eddie thats all folks no more room for any more fish,so we shut it down and tried for swords . Couple of tuna were at 100 lbs or so. Ablast on poppers. Ive got some pics .will post them tomorrow. We also got to get right up to a whale and could almost touch it .C.Eddie said it was a big sperm whale
