We are going to Mazatlan this summer. If you have been offshore with someone from Mazatlan, post up your comments so I can start making reservations.

Thanks

Downtown Marina

I Would Walk the Dock, after 2-3 PM,, and Look and Talk
To the Captians, and See what they cought, that Day.

I was able to Get a 1/2 Day for $175.00,,on a "Older" Bote,
And a full Day, for $400.00, on a Nice Bote.

There is a Newer Marina at the North end of the Tourist Zone too,,
The Open air Taxis,,"Pulminias" will take You from one end of
Town to the Other for 5$,,,

Take a Harbor tour on a Pontoon, Bote,,

Back in 98 I started Pro Team Charters with a strict catch and release policy.
Even if a fish was gut hooked and died it was released. They operate out of the new marina on the north end of town close to the Marina El Cid Not sure what the new owners policy is but we used to provide lunch beer and transportation to and from your hotel.Early summer can expect dorado sailfish tuna and some stripers. When the bonito are around there is a shot a black marlin and blues show up mid summer. Spring is also a good time to get a shot at tailing swordies although they can be had incidentally early summer. If you go to Senor Frogs be careful of the drinks as thet have a penchant for making gringos walk sideways
