Hey guys,
I have a question. My dad shot this HUGE spotted fallow buck about 7 years ago and I think he will make the record book. Im talking, I think it will be way up there!!! Im sure he is a gold medal (if they call them that)? We have never had him scored before as I don't know the process or procedure. Can anyone tell me what the procedure is and where I could find an offical scorer in the Houston/Pearland area.
Well guys, thanks in advance for the help,
Joe

Exotics are scored by SCI, not Boone and Crocket. You should be able to find some info by going to the SCI website.

There are two official scoring methods. SCI and Texas ROE (Record of Exotics). There are forms out there on the web for both.

If a person wants they can have it officially scored and send that in for record book entry (I dunno, maybe you actually get a certificate too).

I've just used the forms and scored them myself to give me an idea of their score - never bothered with the formalities because it didn't matter.
