Correct. I know there are 2 tagged fish released at a time in certain locations....like 2 at Surfside....2 at the Sargent swing bridge...etc. Also.....it seems that these red fish some what tend to "migrate" in a northerly direction. I know of tagged fish, not specifically STAR fish...that have been released down in the Aransas areas in the past...have been caught, I believe in the Galveston areas. Seems that most STAR fish have been caught in these areas in past events. I am following up with this "theory". )
