My daughter's flying down late Oct. (20-26th). I'd like to take her and the two boys overnight on the beachfront just South of Bob Hall Pier and do some long rodding for a couple days or three. Any words of wisdom and/or suggestions would be very welcome. Might even bring my two surfboards.

Not real familar with the area. Only went once (see avitar) and when I did go there was 2-3 feet of seaweed lining the beach (year ago last April).

Any safety concerns, etc. for doing a couple nights down there? Can we do a campfire on the beach.

Thanks.

Current conditions are great but you are talking about 3 weeks away so who knows. Fire is OK but please don't burn anything with nails. People camp in that area all the time so don't think safety is a concern.

I love 2cool and spend way too much time here but Corpusfishing.com does a better job on reports and conditions for North Padre, Bob Hall and PINS.
