I believe they are an Australian brand, used typically to hunt kangaroos in the head.

They have had some decent reviews in the gun rags. Personally I would go with a Nikon, Bushnell 3200/4200 Elite, or a Burris FFII. Check out SWFA.com. They sell a Bushnell 4200 Elite 3-9X40 for $260 if I remember correctly.

I picked up a new Nikon Buckmaster 6-18 SF target scope for $280 on EBay. All of my deer rifles have 3-9 power scopes because IMHO 9X is all I need and I like the FOV of the 3X.
