the heat is gettin too me...i have 2 flor 24in. lights and plan to get a spotlight but im unsure the amount of draw against the battery..ive got 20ft.wellcraft- 150 with 2 deep cycles...im unsure whether i can run 2 flor. lights and spotlight (for running) will draining them if i use the lights all nite....im sure that while running my alt. should charge, but would a 3rd battery be too much or what? and is it best to submerge the lights or leave on top of water....if i dont catch some good fish sooon im gonna get back in the horse biz......:D

When I was using lights I had the submersible ones and used an extra battery or 2. Submerged lights have a couple of advantages, 1) no light bouncing off the water into your eyes, 2) less flying bugs for you to eat while leaning over the side of the boat, 3)IMHO Submerged lights put more light into the water.
I didn't like using my boat batteries for the lights and taking a chance on running them down and not being able to get the engine started.
