Have HP 3540 for my home/office and its been great. The high HP ink cost drove me to buy the non-HP ink at substantial savings.

I do some color printing in my work, and the Non-HP ink works okay, but I have to set the printer on Hi and not Standard. Even then, the colors and even the black are not the best.

So, I thought I would reach out to 2cool and see what they are using for a printer and if you are happy with results both black and color.

Thanks

I run an HP Office Jet Pro 8615 4 in 1 series, I keep general everyday printing at the lowest ink setting.

I have had no issues and do not feel ink is that expensive.

We have had an HP Officejet Pro 8600 for several years and love it. It is an all in one type also...wireless, scan, print, fax, internet, print from phone, etc. ....
I don't know the differences in these models, but I have a HP Officejet Pro 8610 and like it

It is an all in one type also...wireless, scan, print, fax, internet, print from phone, etc. The ink hasn't been an issue the last couple of years since they have been able to put the redesigned chips in the aftermarket cartridges. This allows the printer to read the levels of ink in the cartridges and recognize them as legit units. I just ordered a set a day or two ago and it was $11-$12 for the black, cyan, magenta, and yellow...

Best is to have two printers; a laser printer for normal printing and an inkjet for occasion color printing. Laser printing consumable is just pennies compared to color inks, which are more expensive than gold, for real. Laser printers are dirt cheap nowadays and of course, they will catch up with you in the cost of toner, but for black and white printing, it is very reasonable. IMO, laser printers are much less finicky, fast and more reliable than inkjet printers.
Inkjet printers have the built in “print head” maintenance cycle that would take time and consume inks each time the printers are restarted.

I bought an Epson Eco-Tank at Sam's a while back. The ink comes in huge bottles that you pour in. (Sealed process, not messy at all.) So far, it looks like it really will be a lot cheaper cost per page than cartridge style printers. I'm more than satisfied with the color and text quality.

Ink sucks, it dries and smears and just is a mess. You pay more for laser and for the toner, but it can sit just fine for long periods of time and print just fine. I have a duplexing laser on our home router that any PC can print too and its great to always have a printer ready to go that can print double sided.

Get an HP Laser printer. As Drundel said you'll pay more for the toner but it will run 10,000 pages and you won't have the issues that you have with the old technology inkjet printer.

You can buy them with the wireless feature that allows you to print from any computer that access your WAP and any phone that has the HP app on it.

HP wireless laserjet printer or one that has wireless capabilities. Any computer that can access your WAP can use the printer once the drivers are installed and any smart phone that has the HP app on it can print to it as well.

Drundel is right. The toner is more expensive but you'll get many more printed pages out of the printer and you won't have the issues with the decades old technology that is inkjet printing.
