Try Pro-Tec Powder Paint

Pro-Tec, available from Cabelas.
Heat jigs in oven, dip in paint jar, tap off excess, hang jigs from
oven rack. Use catch pan below, heat in preheated (350 Deg F)
oven for 20 mins.

Lots of colors including Glow.

I have used the powder paints before and they work great. I just used a cigarette lighter to heat the head, dipped it in the powder, pulled it out and it melts and makes a nice smooth shiney finish. Pretty durable too.

You can also buy liquid jighead paint from places like Jann's Netcraft.

I don't think it matters as much to the fish as it does to you on color of the head or if you even paint them or not. I have not used a painted jighead in ages and catch all I want.
